Marshall MG100HDFX Amp!

The Marshall MG100HDFX amplifier took musicians by surprise, especially those who were loyal to a tube amp.

This particular solid-state head has been raved about in several online reviews by people who were shocked by the sound it can produce.

Marshall MG100HDFX

Most of these guys thought they’d never convert, but the Marshall MG100HDFX proved them wrong.

The 100-watt head is powerful, and can easily drive any cabinet you want to pick from the Marshall inventory.

Many musicians recommend that you use it with an MG412A or an MG412B. These are straight and angled, 120w 4x12’s.

The MG100HDFX is a great amp for heavy metal bands that need volume that will rattle the neighbor’s house and a down and dirty sound.

Punk and alternative artists also favor this one, because the settings can be toned down and cleaned up for a crisper sound.

It is a good, versatile amp that suits almost any rocker, and can even do the blues some justice.

There are even some country players that like this amp; it can give their music an edge that’s becoming popular even in that typically tamer genre.

This amp has two channels, called clean and overdrive, and there is a foot-switch that allows you to quickly change from one to the other.

The clean channel offers two options, clean and crunch.

The crunch mode is great for blues players, and those that like a twangy sound.

The overdrive channel is more popular among hard rockers and heavy metal guitarists who like distorted tones.

In the overdrive channel, you can choose between OD1 and OD2.

OD1 gives you the sound you expect from a classic Marshall amp, it’s rich and resonant.

The OD2 setting is a lot more out-there and aggressive; it’s the first choice for heavy metal and driving hard rock music.

One other feature of the MG100HDFX include the available jacks for headphones (for practicing withOUT rattling the neighbors out of bed) and sound loops.

You can attach some cool extras to this amp to further distort and play with your tone.

The MG100HDFX is really a great amp for just about anyone, it has so many different settings and options that you can truly adjust it to whatever playing style you dig.

It’s great for practicing, but can rock the house at gigs, too.
