Fender Lone Star Stratocaster!

Country Rock's Premier Electric Guitar

Fender Lone Star Stratocaster

The Fender Lone Star Stratocaster has a sleek subtle design, accompanied with a stunning country rock sound.

Texans always figure they have to have a piece of everything, and you see Lone Star Editions of everything from reality television shows to trucks to guitars.

I must say, the Lone Star Stratocaster currently available is a beautiful electric guitar.

Unlike most things that sport any kind of Lone Star brand, this guitar isn’t garish and obnoxiously flashy.

In fact, The Lone Star Strat leans more toward subtly stylish than the bigger the better.

There is an up and coming band named I Am Empire.

They are slowly and painfully clawing their way into fans’ hearts by booking their own gigs and advertising without the help of any big name PR.

The lead singer of I Am Empire, Andrew Stanton, plays a Fender Lone Star Stratocaster in his smooth but hard-hitter solos.

You may have heard them and not even realized it; the single that is currently rocking radios everywhere is called “You’re A Fake.”

This song (#15 –Billboard Christian Rock Charts) features a great guitar solo performed by Stanton and his Fender Lone Star Strat.

Fender Lone Star Stratocaster

The Lone Star Strat is a sleek guitar reminiscent of the classic Fender Strat (that same famous shape), with an alder wood body and maple C-shaped neck.

The fingerboard is made of rosewood.

Chrome hardware completes the look, and you can find the newest colors in the Fender Lone Star Deluxe Stratocaster: classic Black, Arctic White, and a classic Brown Sunburst.

This model also features two “Texas Special” single coil pickups and a four-ply brown shell pick guard. There are two controls for tone and one for volume.

Like most guitars, especially Fender Strats, there are plenty of them out there that have been modified.

So these strats might not be exact, especially if you run across a used guitar.

The good thing is, a fully customized guitar is priceless to the artist it’s made for, and customizing is usually easy.

You can buy a standard Fender Lone Star Strat for the looks and rich tones, and make it yours with a few tweaks.

Musicians who play on a Fender Lone Star Strat will tell you that it offers a rich tone, but it is still a surprisingly versatile guitar.

You can play a big (Texas big, haha) range, from hard-hitting rock and roll to something more mellow and resonant.

You get all the greatness of any Fender Strat, but with a little Lone Star flair.
