Reasonably priced and occasionally available used on eBay, the Fender Ultimate Chorus amp is a great choice for clean, clear sound in fairly low to moderate stress situations.
But metal rockers: Leave this one alone.

Chorus and reverb effects are built right into this amp, making it something special from the start.
