Martin d-45
Acoustic Guitar Review!
The Martin D-45 six string acoustic guitar is one of the most highly rated guitars that I have ever come across.
This guitar is truly a piece of work. Fourteen frets of smooth playin, and a body built for rich deep sound.
The back and sides of this masterpiece are composed of solid East Indian rosewood, and the neck is a genuine mahogany.
The top is solid Sitka spruce, and the body is decorated with abalone inlays. Any guitarist could fall in love with this acoustic.
Neil Young played it regularly, and it has been played over the years by a handful of the greats. Most reviewers of this guitar claim that they have never owned a better sounding, elegant guitar.
One of the greatest things that this guitar has to offer is its quality of sound.
The Bass is deep, the mid range is “Vibrant,” and the treble is “crisp.”
When you strum, it resonates for a long time.
There is nothing more beautiful than an enduring resonating strum. Also, this is a great guitar for finger picking.
The D-45 comes with a masterfully crafted Dovetail neck.
Many lower quality guitars are bolted together from the neck to the Body, but not the D-45.
The Dovetail Joint is just one more example of how masterfully crafted the D-45 truly is.
Another great plus to buying Martin's D-45 is that most sellers will add a free case with your purchase.
You can’t go wrong with the guitar that Neil Young played.
Like any guitar, there are a few issues with the Martin D-45.
Most of these complaints are just a matter of preference though.
Firstly, some people claim that the guitar is too big.
This is definitely a matter of preference, but this could be an issue for some people.
For example, if you are getting this guitar for a child, then maybe you should reconsider.
Next, some people do not like the hexagon inlays.
This is definitely a matter of preference, and is not something that should stop anyone from making the purchase.
Finally, the most legitimate complaint against the Martin D-45 that I could find was the cost of the guitar.
In all the locations that I have checked for purchasing this guitar, it was listed between seven and eight thousand dollars.
This is a serious chunk of change.
If you are a beginner guitar just learning how to play, then the D-45 might not be the right guitar for you.
On the other hand, if you are an avid guitar player, than why not make the investment?
After purchasing the D-45, you would never have to buy another guitar again, nor would you have the desire.
The D-45 is a beautiful, magnificently sounding Acoustic, a little pricey, but clearly worth every cent.
