Martin Acoustic Electric Guitar

Way back in 1833 Christian Frederick Martin Established the C.F. Martin & Company.

Since it has been regarded as one of the top acoustic guitar producers the world has seen.

Many of their guitars can retail for a few thousand dollars and some of their vintage guitars will resell for six figures.

Though Martin manufactures some guitars out of their plant in Mexico, their headquarters are in Nazareth, PA.

Interestingly enough the Martin Company is still a family owned business.

The current CEO Chris Martin IV is the great-great-great grandson of Christian Martin – the founder.

Martin has been responsible for a lot of impact within the guitar world.

From creating the dreadnought & archtop guitars to scalloped bracing Martin has a rich history.
